Vokal is a hip hop brand established in 1977 by Yomi Martin, Cornell Nelly Haynes Jr and Nick Loftis and the name Vokal stands for Very Organized Kids Always Learning. They wanted to launch a company not driven by huge marketing budget and were looking for a new innovative brand where the clothes speak for themselves. They started selling t-shirts made featuring the St. Lunatics rap crew and quickly the brand grew right along with the career of Nelly and the St. Lunatics.
