An immersion in the colors and textures of nature: this is the main theme of the Men’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection by Jacob Cohën.

Leisure & pleasure are the key words of a new lifestyle that is built on a wardrobe inspired by glamping, but translated into the manufacturing know-how that distinguishes the brand.

Corduroy and moleskin are the backbone of this new idea of wardrobe, as they are the main fabrics used for the single-breasted blazer and the iconic trucker jacket, dyed in a color palette of earthy nuances: pine green, mustard and brownstone, skillfully balanced by darker, nocturnal tones of blue, aubergine, indigo and gray.

Regular fit cargos and pleated pants - with macro and micro-check prints in wool and gabardine - find their perfect counterpart in knitwear that is made with the same craftsmanship used the house’s signature style denim washes. Sweaters and cardigans are garment dyed in carded and combed wool with a vintage appeal. The apex of the knit collection is represented by the tricot cashmere styles, where a double-dyeing treatment gives 3-D hand and depth to the garments.

The inclination for leisurewear is also expressed through logo sweatshirts and side-band pants, as well as printed t-shirts with autumnal panoramas and chambray shirts. A glance to nature that is not just an aesthetic trick but translates also into eco-sustainable treatments, such as laser and ozone, that allow to use considerably less chemical agents and save up much of the water usually used in the washing treatments.

A scenario in which denim acts as the protagonist not just in the five-pocket version, that is a trademark classic of the brand, enriched by the iconic pony-hair back tag in an infinite variety of colors and options, including embossing, but also in outerwear. Down jackets and parkas with waterproof treatments have an appeal that is also suitable for the urban environments the Jacob Cohën man belongs to by definition. A sense of belonging reaffirmed by the Denim Black line, characterized by models with distressed finishing, used washes, contrasting profiles and buttons with silver accents – just perfect for coming back to the city.
